Economic Justice

Economic justice seeks to extend the principles of justice inherent in human and civil rights into the economic sphere. This means structuring society so that everyone has the basic means of survival and the tools to advance and improve their situation. Economic justice has been described as a middle ground between capitalist and communist economic principles, allowing private enterprise to earn a profit while insuring that everyone remains above the poverty line.
