I hope this email finds you warm and safe after Hurricane Sandy.  So many people in our southeastern Philadelphia area ending up being fortunate on a relative scale.  Many folks, however, were not so fortunate.  Loss of life, injury, property damage, cold, hunger and more have all struck untold numbers of folks.

UUPLAN President Rev. Kent Matthies announced today that Dennis Brunn has been appointed UUPLAN Director and that Virginia Kirk,  current Interim Outreach Coordinator will continue as UUPLAN Assistant Director.  The new staff team will immediately strengthen our ability to have a positive impact on social justice issues throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Mr. Brunn and Mrs. Kirk will help us to directly engage a growing number of Unitarian Universalists.
