A Good Primer on What's Likely to Be In and Out of Pared-Down State Budget Expected to Pass this Week
Just read this on pennlive.com, the web site for the Harrisburg Patriot-Ledger. We expect budget passage any day now and urge you to still consider calling a legislator asking for some funds to be restored -- for general assistance, medical assistance or education. There are a lot of cuts to choose from.

The UU Church in Media Working Hard to Save PA's General Assistance fund
This just in from Mardys Leeper at the UU Church of Delaware County. They have great support from their minister, the Rev. Peter Friedrichs, who is part of UUPLAN.
