May 7th General Assistance Rally in Harrisburg: Can You Make It?

Hi All: UUPLAN has heard from our sister organization PA Cares for All that they are set for a protest at the State Capital on the morning of May 7th to make clear how important the $300 million General Assistance fund is to thousands of needy Pennsylvanians. Without this valuable safety net, many are likely to fall further into poverty and homelessness.

And YES, this is the second rally on the same day that allows you to speak up for UUs' values. Last week we did indeed tell you about the Immigration Rights rally.
