TAKE ACTION! TELL YOUR PA SENATOR TO OPPOSE VOTER SUPPRESSION BILL

PA House Bill 934 is an expensive Voter Suppression Bill would make it harder for older citizens, students, people with disabilities, racial minorities, and lower-income people to vote. The bill requires valid state or federal photo ID from all Pennsylvanians at all elections before they are permitted to vote.

We are hopeful that we can have a strong showing of opposition to the voter ID bill, which is likely to be considered by the Senate State Government Committee this month. HELP COLLECT STORIES ABOUT BARRIERS TO VOTER ID:

Collect stories from your community of people who are having a hard time obtaining photo ID. Some legislators have said it is not hard to get ID, and that most people in their county already have them. However, we know that this is not always the case so we need your stories! We are specifically looking for individuals from counties outside of Philadelphia. (However, all stories are welcome for submission!) For example, if you happen to know someone in Bucks County who has experienced difficulty obtaining their photo ID— we would love to hear their story!
