Thomas Linzey on Fracking, June 2011 - Part A

The Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund's Executive Director Thomas Linzey speaks at a conference sponsored by the Legal Defense Fund and the City of Pittsburgh. The conference, held in Pittsburgh on June 11, 2011, focused on natural gas drilling and fracking, and what communities are doing in the face of those threats - as they recognize that attempting to regulate drilling and fracking "better" means to allow it in, no matter the consequences for the community, nature, or public health. Communities are beginning to say "no" to their state governments and the industry which are attempting to expand drilling across the Marcellus Shale and the country.
